Cliffs of Moher
I just spent the weekend in Ireland and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was sunny and slightly breezy…seriously gave me all the fall feels. We spent most of our time in Dublin and the city had such a relaxed vibe—it was nice to wind down after a hectic weekend running around Paris last week.
On Saturday we hopped on a tour bus for twelve hours and ventured our way over to the Cliffs of Moher in western Ireland. I’ve always been amazed by how beautiful they are in pictures and they were just as stunning in person. I feel like these pictures don’t even do it justice.
We booked our Cliffs of Moher tour through a company called Paddywagon and we loved our tour guide. He was born and raised in Ireland and knew so much about the area. He taught us a bunch of old Irish folk songs—I’m now obsessed with Irish music! Initially we were hesitant about using a whole day of our trip to visit the Cliffs, but I would 100% recommend it to anyone coming here for a visit.
I am headed to Bath and Stonehenge this weekend on a trip with my study abroad program. My aunt used to live in Bath so I can’t wait to explore her old “stomping grounds”. Also stay tuned for a new series coming to the blog in the next few days!!
